Fire Pumps

The work is too important

Every code review is someone’s safety net.

You only get one shot at this work. The pump has to run, the alarm has to sound, and the sprinkler has to drop. When one fails, buildings burn, lawsuits hit, and careers stall. You shouldn’t have to learn that on the job.

Why it matters

  1. You can’t learn this on YouTube. You can read NFPA 25 cover to cover and still freeze the first time you’re hands-on with a fire pump that won’t start. The book doesn’t teach the smell of a stuck check valve.
  2. NICET certification is how your career moves up. Levels II and III open the better jobs and the better pay. NICET tests the topics most people learned wrong, so learning them the right way is how you get ahead.
  3. Your shop can’t afford a slow ramp. Every new tech who’s six months behind is six months your senior people can’t take on bigger work. Multiply that across a team and it’s real money.

What's at Stake

Two futures. Choose one.

Without Fire Tech

  • You keep guessing in the field, hoping today’s job looks like the last one.
  • NICET certifications stay just out of reach, and so do the better roles.
  • New hires spend 18 months ramping instead of six, and your senior techs carry the load the whole time.
  • Your team is one bad inspection away from a difficult conversation with the AHJ.

With Fire Tech

  • You learn NFPA 25, 72, 20, and 13 hands-on, so you show up to every job confident and can defend your call.
  • You train for NICET Level II and III with the right material, and “someday” becomes “next quarter.”
  • New techs train on real equipment and are billable in months, not years. Your seniors get freed up for the work that matters.
  • Every tech you train makes your shop the one the AHJ trusts and the GCs call first.
