Hands-On Fire Alarm Workshops

This two-day hands-on workshop will familiarize the learner with the codes/standards used for fire alarm systems. In addition, learners will be exposed to the concepts of fire alarm system installations and how the systems operate. This workshop is for those new to fire alarm systems and who need a basic understanding so that they can perform their jobs more efficiently. This workshop is primarily meant for those new to jobs in the fire alarm field (inspectors, field technicians, engineers new to fire protection systems, managers). The workshop is recommended for those with 0 to 6 months of experience or those who may need a refresher in fire alarm systems fundamentals.

This two-day hands-on workshop will familiarize the learner with requirements to inspect and test fire alarm systems. This workshop is primarily meant for those new to inspecting and servicing fire alarm systems (inspectors, field technicians, installing technicians). The workshop is recommended for those with at least 6 months of experience or those who have completed Fire Alarm & Detection Systems.

This 2-day hands-on workshop will familiarize the learner with troubleshooting and repairing fire alarm systems after an inspection or during an emergency service call. The learner will diagnose alarm, supervisory, and/or trouble conditions to determine the problem and then repair the system. This workshop is primarily meant for those required to inspect, test, and/or service fire alarm systems (inspectors, field technicians). The workshop is recommended for those with at least 6 months of experience or those who have completed Fire Alarm & Detection Systems or Inspection & Testing of Fire Alarm Systems.
